Really Smooth Fruit and Nut Chocolate Caramel Bark

Now who doesn't like chocolate!! Its a love we all share, sometimes secretly and at other times with a passion. Yes, even adults behave like little children at its mere mention! As a child, I loved Amul chocolates, the long lost Double Decker (one of the most delicious chocolates ever, it was rarely available even in my childhood, but I heard so much about it from my parents and their siblings), Five Star Bar, Fruit and Nut Bar, and Cadbury Nutties!! Now my favourite chocolates are those made from dark chocolate, the darker the better!!

Bite-Size Raspberry Jam Biscuits | Eggless Raspberry Jam Biscuits

Many years ago, I came across the jammie biscuit in England. Pretty yellow biscuits, with a sticky baked jam center really made my day. I loved them with my afternoon cuppa (shorthand for a cup of tea on the British Isles)!! They also reminded me of the jam biscuits we ate as kids back in India. The only difference was that in India, the filling was mixed fruit jam, a species of jam rarely found on super market shelves elsewhere, while in England, the filling was always raspberry jam, or apricot preserve!!

Atta Cookies | Eggless Whole Wheat Biscuits

Spring is in the air and we are blessed with some beautiful warm sunshine!! The birds are actually singing and my back yard is green. I am getting so excited at the prospect of planting flowers and vegetables again this year!! But in my part of the world one has to be cautious. April brings at least one last big chill and sometimes frost before the warm weather sets in for good!! Well, at least I have got my planters lined up and will fill them up with fresh soil this weekend!!
