Fruit Loop Clusters | Vegan Recipe

Fruit Loops or Fruity O's are a favorite of children. The colors and flavors of this crunchy cereal attract children and adults alike. With the vacations round the corner, play dates and travel are sure to keep families busy. At such times tasty treats are always welcome and usually in  a hurry 😋

Home made cereal clusters are a good treat for energetic children and parents. These no-bake fruit clusters are delicious and will go perfectly with a chilled glass of milk on a hot summer day. They are very easy to make and I have used coconut sugar in them. No marshmallows or other cloying sweeteners allows for a very mellow fruity flavor in these treats.

Ingredients:
31/2 cup fruit loops
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 tbsp white sugar
1/2 cup water

Method:
  1. Mix the water and sugar in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Heat until sugar is completely melted.
  3. Bring to a boil and boil until mixture is frothy.
  4. Once the sugar mix reaches the soft ball stage, remove from the heat.
  5. Add the fruit loops. Mix to coat the loops with the sugar mix.
  6. Turn out into a heat proof bowl that is greased with coconut oil or butter.
  7. Press down and allow to cool completely.
  8. Cut into squares or bars.
  9. Enjoy with cold milk or hot coffee.
  10. Store in an air tight container.
